Someone is stealing important Corner Brook artifacts, and it’s up to you and your friends to solve the case! The Carnival Caper has been taunting the people of Corner Brook all throughout the months of January and February, and the evidence has been gathered at the public library. If you and 3 of your friends can solve the puzzles left behind by the caper in the 30 minute time limit, you might just be able to point the finger at some very prominent Corner Brook Citizens! The Carnival Caper is a brand new Escape Room experience put together by TNL’s Sara…h McDonald Youth Theatre stagecraft students with the help of their instructor Sarah White. Strong Kids Campaign Fitness Blast Fundraiser 
Humber Community YMCA, 2 Herald Avenue. Admission is free with a pledge sheet containing a minimum of $10.00 in donations, or $10.00 at the door. Don't miss our First Annual Strong Kids Campaign Fitness Blast! Open to adults & youth age 10 & up. We will showcase our many wonderful classes that are offered at the YMCA. Grab a friend, come in and enjoy the fitness components that peak your interest!

Apuknajit Friendship Mini Pow Wow & Winter Feast  
Bennett Hall, 11 West Street. Monetary Donation at door. Apuknajit is a Mi'Kmaq Winter Fest celebrating traditional times when food was not plentiful. A time to gather and celebrate Apuknajit with our relations. This event will include smudging, singing, drumming, teachings, and a small feast. Come join the Corner Brook Aboriginal Women's Association at Bennett Hall, 11 West Street.

14th Annual Leifling Gala
J J Curling Elementary, Woodbine Avenue. The gala is open to all Corner Brook School Children from Kindergarten to Grade 6. The judges will be looking for a spirited individual who loves winter, people, and most of all Winter Carnival. To enter, all you need to do is make a sword, a shield, and a simple costume. This year's Leifling will receive an autographed photo with Leif The Lucky, an engraved Leif The Lucky statuette, a special family dinner at Jungle Jim's with Leif The Lucky, plus receive a gift courtesy of Way's Transport.
